Key government networks well protected from ransomware: IT Secretary

NEW DELHI: The administration has introduced essential security in bunches to shield its key systems from the digital assault by ransomware infection ‘WannaCrypt’, Information Technology Secretary Aruna Sundararajan said here on Tuesday.
“On ransomware, since March, the legislature of India has been on high ready. We have as of now introduced the essential security in clusters the extent that the administration key systems are concerned,” said stated, amid the inaugural session of Broadband India Forum.

Data Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Monday had said the digital assault by ransomware infection “WannaCrypt” had about zero effect in India.
